Experience Flinders Island

There are walks through our private sculptured bush-land and the close by Strzelecki National Park. When the tide is out, at the bottom of the driveway, explore the petrified forest from millions of years ago, now found at the edge of the sea or look at the oldest rocks in the world.  Follow Flinders Island’s Geo Trail which begins at Badger Corner. Come back and immerse your spiritual self in the labyrinth, shaped like a nautilus shell, or walk the beaches, take a picture of shells in situ. Visit Flinders Island’s world class Furneaux Museum for the stories of the first Anglo settlement south of Sydney and our First Australians.  Book a tour to see the Ramsar sites - one on Flinders Island the other on Cape Barren Island.  Have a game of golf on the most scenic 9 hole links golf course or book a fishing tour through the necklace of islands surrounding you. Walk to the top of a mountain.  Feel Flinders Island’s weather with the Roaring Forties wind, see the clouds and watch them blow and shape their way across the sky. In the rainbow season, the colours wrap the world with smiles. Watch the sky darken as the mutton birds in their thousands circle home to their burrows at dusk.
